Life, so far, lived here. 

Homesteaded on a mountain 

Among the bears and the deer. 

When that phase of her life ended 

To Northern Vermont she went. 

She carried on old traditions 

Doing and learning as she went. 

A spinner of yarn she is 

On drop spindle and two wheels. 

Serious writing, she started late in life, 

To tell her words and her soul to heal.
